Heroes, Happy and Gin Rummy

Heroes, Happy and Gin Rummy... What do these three paintings have in common? Really, they are just where my head space is at right now. I paint in the moment, and these three pieces are where I am in this moment. Sometimes I wonder how many other artists do this. Do you / they create artwork for shows consecutively, so all the pieces come from that same place in your / their heart? I feel like it makes my exhibition entries more cohesive...like they belong together. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is the way I've always done it. Let me know your thoughts.

These three paintings have been entered into a show in Harrisonburg, VA. I hope they get juried in. I'd love to keep them all together!

I love painting series and doing so fits right into my style. I love these three pieces and love that you honored firefighters and those that help us all in times of need.
