"A Bottle of Red" 4"x2.5" Acrylic

The largest miniature art show in America closes at 5pm on Feb. 15th, at The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art in Tarpon Springs, FL. I am humbled to have five paintings in this juried show. This is an annual exhibition of arguably the best miniature artwork in the country.

"Black and White" 2.5"x4" Acrylic

I have had the opportunity to attend this show opening twice now, and as with other shows, the volunteers deserve a standing ovation. When you are there, the air is buzzing with excitement and love of art. It's a happy place for anybody who wants a dose of creative energies. Thank you to Kay and Mike Petrysak, Herb Weed, Carol Curtis, and the whole team - you know who you are. Without you, none of this would be possible.

"Romancing" 4"x2.5" Acrylic

The Miniature Artists of America is an organization of elite painters, and they meet during this exhibition each year. Last year, I was invited to be one of their signature members. There are just over 60 of us who are active members, and this is quite an honor. To be an MAA signature member means you are considered to be one of the best miniature art painters, including artists who live overseas, exhibiting in the USA.

"Threshold" 2.5"x4" Acrylic

If you are anywhere near Tarpon Springs, treat yourself to a trip to this exhibit. You won't be disappointed! As cold as it is here in VA, I really wish I could be down in Florida with my art. Alas, I will have to live vicariously through you! Send pics if you go!
