Rescued

At the Elizabeth City Air Base in North Carolina, the rescue swimmer team keeps life vests used in rescues in their shop. On them, they have written details of the crew and rescued. It is amazing to see these heroic deeds documented in this way. We all are in distress at times. It is so comforting to know that there are first responders there to help us. 

This painting is an homage to all who come to my rescue when I wave my signal flag.
