Charcoal is such a fun medium to work in. Many of us spend the first few years of our art curriculum drawing, before we move on to painting. We then get so wrapped up in blending and colors, we forget how much we love drawing.
Well, I'm remembering! It's like the cone of silence has been lifted. I love to draw! I love how cast shadows are an important part of the composition, and how just two colors - black and white - can give us enough information to make objects look like you could reach in and grab one!
