July 11, 2024 this piece was accepted into the U.S. Coast Guard Art Program Permanent Government Collection.

The Salmagundi Excellence Committee has asked that I send you congratulations on the acceptance of your three outstanding paintings into the permanent collection of the United States Coast Guard. “Muster,” “Night shift,” and “Start your engines” will make superb additions to the collection. The committee continues to be impressed by your formidable talent, and your dedication and commitment to the art program. We thank you again for undertaking the deployment aboard the Cutter Stone and creating these incredible works of art.
The inaugural exhibition of the 2024 collection at the Salmagundi Club will run from July 1 through July 26, 2024. The opening reception and acceptance ceremony will be held July 11 at the club. We hope to see you then.
We will follow the show at the Salmagundi Club with an exhibition of the 2024 art collection at Federal Hall National Memorial for several months which is also in New York City. The memorial enjoys a large number of visitors.
