I've never tried to play the cello. I'm 1,000% sure I would not be any good at it, even if I really, really tried to be. For one thing, I don't think the musical side of my brain works. I can't even score points on video games involving instruments.
BUT, that doesn't stop me from fantasizing. MAYbe in this big universe, there is a world where I could excel at the seemingly impossible. Maybe I could be the one to bring sounds to life in a way that evokes much emotion.
Meanwhile, I am on this planet, doing my best to paint in a way that touches heartstrings. And you know what? I'm SO happy with that.
