Some candies are just as much fun to look at as they are to make or eat. For me, taffy is like that. Watching the candy maker pull and wrap it, or making it myself is actually more fun than eating it, I think. Seeing salt water taffy reminds me of beach vacations when our three kids were young. Those memories of sand castles and skim boards are so precious, now that our children are grown. Sometimes I can actually taste and smell the salty sweetness of taffy just thinking of our visits to the candy shops.
