In Albuquerque, New Mexico, the ceramic tile murals are enchanting. This piece is inspired by one behind the Albuquerque Museum of Art. I love how the shadow of a lamp post falls on the sunrise in the mural. There is something metaphorical about this to me. Life in America is so full of hope and sunshine. Sometimes a shadow will fall on us, but often that shadow is itself a source of light and opportunity. We are constantly challenged, but some of those challenges have spurred the best growth experiences.
