Dear Deb,

The Salmagundi Excellence Committee has asked that I send you congratulations on the acceptance of your three outstanding oil paintings into the permanent collection of the United States Coast Guard.  “Canine hoist,” “Protecting the endangered,” and “Unhooked” will make superb additions to the collection. The committee continues to be impressed by your formidable talent and your dedication and commitment to the art program.

The inaugural exhibition of the 2023 collection at the Salmagundi Club will run from June 26 through July 28, 2023.  The opening reception and acceptance ceremony will be held July 13 at the club.  We hope you can attend.

We will follow the show at the Salmagundi Club with an exhibition of the 2023 art collection at Federal Hall National Memorial for several months also in New York City.  The memorial enjoys a large number of visitors.

Your generous contributions of your time and artistic talent ensure that diverse audiences around the country will have the opportunity to learn about Coast Guard missions through the unique perspective that fine art provides.  Please accept our sincere thanks for your outstanding contributions to COGAP.  We are honored that you are a member and that we will soon have new works by you in the collection.  We are very grateful that you are sharing your prodigious talent with the Coast Guard and by extension, the public.  As well, we continue to be profoundly grateful that you were able to make an artistic deployment for the Coast Guard Art Program.  You are awesome!

With best regards,

Mary Ann
